BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT (BCM) POLICY

ISS Facility Services Private Limited (ISS) is committed to its customers, employees, shareholders and business partners. To ensure the effective availability of essential and critical services, ISS provides this Business Continuity Management policy in support of a comprehensive program for business continuity, limiting the impact and losses caused by major incidents, and total business recovery.

 

Business Continuity is defined as ensuring the continuity or uninterrupted provision of critical operations and services.  Business Continuity Management (BCM) is an ongoing process with several complementary elements; including risk assessment and mitigation, incident response, emergency response, crisis management, IT disaster recovery, continuity recovery and resumption of critical activities, and return to normal operations.

 

ISS safeguards its critical business operations and functions during and after emergencies in compliance with ISO 22301:2012 Societal Security – Business Continuity Management System - Requirements.  ISS will:

  • Provide and maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace.
  • Provide sufficient resources necessary for effectively implementing of the policy.
  • Communicate to all staff, workers and contractors the risk and hazards involved with their work.
  • Communicate to all staff, visitors and contractors the WSH policy and objectives, their responsibility and accountability.
  • Comply with all applicable WSH laws and regulations.
  • Annually review and re-evaluate our WSH policy to ensure relevancy.
  • Continue improving safety, health and environment at the workplace.
  • Provide this policy to all interested parties upon request.
  • Develop and review programmes for continual improvement, with reference to best practices, guidelines and ISO22301.
