Operations

 

Chef De Partie ( Western / Chinese / Muslim / Indian cuisine)

Responsibilities: 

 

You will ensure compliance to the relevant specification and processes involved in the preparation and cooking of food. You will also provide the highest standard in food production at assigned kitchen section and to optimize profits through astute management of food cost and other expenses.

 

 

  • Plan menu and production and ensure compliance to daily menu plan.
  • Conduct daily test on taste and hygiene checks on sectional employees and kitchen.
  • Motivate and enhance staff morale by providing leadership and guidance to the team under his/her charge.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience.
  • Great cooking skills.
  • An ability to delegate appropriately.

 

Cook (Western / Chinese / Muslim / Indian cuisine)

Responsibilities:

 

You will prepare quality food under guidance and instruction of Chef de Partie, execute daily production volume and ensure compliance to weekly meal order plan as instructed by Supervisor. You will also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and observe all guidelines pertaining to the handling and preparation of food.

 

  • Practice and enforce the system of “First In First Out” (FIFO) when storing food products.
  • Compliance to standardize system of operations, methods and procedures set by Management.
  • Exercise care in preventing the use of spoilt or contaminated products in any phase of food preparation.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • Great cooking skills.
  • An ability to delegate appropriately.

 

Assistant Cook (Chinese / Muslim / Indian cuisine)

 

Responsibilities: 

You will prepare quality food in accordance to recipes and directives set by the Head Chef or in his absence the Chef De Partie or Leading Cook and ensure that all menu items are ready for service by stipulated meal times. You will also need to exercise care in preventing the use of spoilt or contaminated products in any phase of food preparation.

 

  • Provide the highest standard in food production and service at the contract site and be mindful of food cost control.
  • Execute daily production volume and ensure compliance to daily menu plan.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and observe all guidelines pertaining to the handling and preparation of food.
  • Develop good working relationships with clients and to ensure satisfaction with our food service.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • Works well on a team.
  • Has experience cooking for large groups.

 

Cashier

Responsibilities: 

 

You will ensure high standard of presentation at each point of service and practice high standard of integrity in the daily operation of the business. You will also ensure accuracy of daily sales receipts when performing cashiering functions.

 

  • Develop good working relationships with clients and colleagues and to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Inform Supervisor promptly of any variation in cash collection.
  • Perform receiving, store and inventory duties as assigned by Supervisor.

 

Requirements:

 

  • At least 1 year of experience.
  • Strong counting and calculation skills are required.
  • Strong communication, customer service and organization skills. 

Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

You will Support Executives and Cooks in the daily preparation, production and service of meals. You will also prepare all raw ingredients including but not limited to chopping, slicing, marinating, washing, blending and portioning. You will perform counter or table service at meal times and ensure highest standard of customer service.

 

  • Conduct inventory on food store and ensure highest standard of inventory control and cleanliness.
  • Compliance at all Food Hygiene and Safety practices and ENV regulations governing cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Perform table clearing, dishwashing and waste disposal duties.

 

Requirements:

  • Works well on a team.
  • Must be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work schedules.

 

Food Service Assistant

Responsibilities: 

 

You will provide the highest standard in food service at the contract site assigned to him/her and to optimize profits through astute management of human resources, food cost and other expenses. You will monitor all Food Hygiene and Safety practices and ensure compliance to ENV regulations governing cleanliness and hygiene

 

  • Ensure high standard of professionalism and image in the day-to-day operation of business.
  • Oversee and provide hands-on management in all aspects of operations not limited to only foodservice.
  • Record and update Logbook daily for review by the Foodservice Manager or Operations Manager.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum Secondary education with flair in Food & Beverage environment.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks using existing skills.
  • Team Player, Strong communication, customer service and organization skills. 

Dishwasher

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform all cleaning and dishwashing duties on a daily basis.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of contract site designated areas under his/her care.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning equipment and supplies once they are issued.
  • Check dishwashing and cleaning machines regularly. Bring faulty machines to the attention of the Supervisor.
  • Develop good relationships with job site staff in line with best practice management; in order to ensure satisfaction with our service, commitment to our long-term presence and the further extension of our business.
  • Report any maintenance defects to Executive/Supervisor for follow up.
  • Be able to set the temperature level for water in the machine.
  • Must handle the utensils with care and avoid breakage.

 

Requirements:

 

  • No experience needed as training will be provided.
  • Have a high level of stamina.
  • Must be able to stand for a long time.
  • Must be able to lift weight.
  • Has a sense of hygiene.
  • Must be able to work even if there is no direct supervision.

Catering Assistants

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Perform counter or table service at meal times and ensure highest standard of customer service at the contract site
  • Ensure high standard of presentation at each point of service.
  • Practice high standard of integrity in the daily operation of the business.
  • Compliance to all Food Hygiene and Safety practices and ENV regulations governing cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Coordinate and execute all special menus and festive sales as and when required.
  • Perform table clearing and dishwashing duties as assigned in the duty roster.
  • To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognizing the importance and benefits of effective team working.
  • Undertake any duties and projects as instructed by his/her Supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Secondary education & above.
  • Previous experience of working in a catering environment.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks using existing skills.
  • Works well on a team.
  • Strong communication, customer service and organization skills. 

Operation Executives

Responsibilities: 

 

You will oversee the management and operation of a cluster of contract sites, ensuring compliance to the relevant specification of catering services. You will provide the highest standard in food service at the contract site assigned to him/her and to optimize profits through astute management of human resources, food cost and other expenses.

 

  • Standardize operation policies and procedures and reinforce consistency in conduct and discipline.
  • Conduct regular test taste, hygiene audits and quality checks to ensure compliance to the highest standards expected at all times.
  • Practice high standard of integrity. Continually monitor suppliers’ performance to ensure best value in relation to quality.
  • Maintain equipment, uniforms and stores to comply with ISS standards and government legislation.

 

Requirements:

 

  •  At least 5 years of experience.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks using existing skills.
  • Team Player, strong communication, customer service and organization skills.
